The fuTure and present is female, here’s Why

I don’t know if you noticed lately, “but until recently, there were relatively few women CEOs” according to James Ledbetter, editor of Inc. Magazine.

In fact, last year more businesses were started by women than men. In reference to Hiscox.com, “women were opening their doors at a rate of 1,821 a day, to the point where more than half of all American businesses are now female owned” that includes small and large businesses, which excites me because I am part of that statistic, and so are my friends!

Women business owners are really making their mark in today’s world and I am forever inspired and even proud to be a woman (yay us). It really means a lot when you look at the bigger picture. We had to fight to be able to vote, to have access to certain things, and even have jobs, now we are CREATING OUR OWN! If you own a business, give yourself a round of applause for making a difference in this world for all women and young girls.

Here’s something else to celebrate, because we are increasing our ability to be CEO’s, there are 11.6 million women owned businesses, that are employing 9 million people, generating $1.7 TRILLION IN REVENUE!!!! This brings me tears of joy because I am a HUGE supporter of women empowerment and this is definitely women empowerment at it’s ultimate best!

What’s even better is that in the past, women have had to choose between motherhood and their careers but in today’s age, they no longer have to choose. Look around you ladies, we are dominating this entrepreneur movement and having businesses more successful than men! You wanna know why? Because there is such a high demand for OUR services, there’s no one like us. We are experts at building relationships and rapport with people, and people are starting to notice, therefore they are gravitating towards our brands.

Most men do it for the profit, but we do it for the passion. There is always a need for something that only WE can identify, because it is in our DNA, to help people and solve problems. Think about it, who do kids run to first? Mom or dad? Mom of course, we have that connection that men don’t. Why do you think there are more female teachers than men? It’s because we know how to talk to people, sympathize, teach and service them, it’s a million dollar gift that we all have.

Did you know that while working corporate jobs, even with a higher education level, women are paid less than men? For every dollar a man earns, we earn about 54 cents. That means if a man’s salary is $23,000, we would get paid about $12,00! That equation is the opposite of women empowerment, yet some women settle for this when working for others rather than working for themselves.

Once you start your business, you no longer have to worry about being underpaid, or even sexually harassed at your workplace, or spending time away from your children and family. You begin to be in control of your own life because you are the BOSS! The future is in your hands, all you have to do is trust God. Even if you don’t believe in yourself, believe in God, that HE will bless you and your business!

With that being said, I encourage you to attend the Millionaire Mastermind Entrepreneur Summit on December 16th here in Atlanta at the beautiful Grand Hyatt where you will be surrounded by prosperous women in business. There will be plenty of successful women who are making millions sharing tips with everyone who attends on how to accomplish their dreams. I believe this summit will plant seeds in some women businesses and make an impact on their success.

Click here to purchase your tickets, or showcase your business at a vendor booth to a group of hundreds of women so that you can be on your journey to break generational curses for you and your family!
